Though technically not an official part of my DTS experience, the road trip back home was equally as full of adventure as the 5 months leading up to it. Two of the people I met in WA that I can now call my closest friends and I took the long way back to Minnesota from Washington. We spent 6 days driving through and visiting iconic landmarks in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, and Minnesota. It was truly the perfect way to close out the season.
